Rafael J Consing, Jr. has over 24 years of extensive investment banking, corporate finance  and treasury management experience. In April 2007, Mr. Consing joined the International Container Terminal Services, Inc (ICTSI) where he has since held the position of Vice President for Finance and Treasurer.  In this role,  he has executive responsibility for the  management of the group's capital structure, global treasury risk, liquidity, global insurance, and stakeholder relations. He is also a board member of some of ICTSI's Philippine and foreign-based subsidiaries such as the Davao Integrated Port and Stevedoring Services, Mindanao International Container Terminal Services, Inc.,  Subic Bay International Container Terminal Corporation,  HIJO International Port Services, Inc., Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited, ICTSI Far East Ltd. ICTSI Jasa Prima TBD, PT Makasaar Terminal Services, ICTSI Capital BV, Royal Capital BV, ICTSI Africa (Pty) Ltd., and ICTSI Cooperative U.A., among others.  To date, ICTSI has been in the leading edge of corporate fund raising, having executed several global and regional financings, including an award winning Perpetual Capital Securities issuance. Mr. Consing was awarded 2011 Treasurer of the Year, Philippines by The Asset at their Triple A Transaction Banking Awards in March 2011.

Prior to joining ICTSI, Mr. Consing gained his investment banking and treasury experience with global banks such as HSBC where he held various regional positions in Manila, Singapore and Hongkong, his last role being the  Managing Director and Head of Financing Solutions Group for Asia Pacific. Mr. Consing similarly held positions in DB Bankers Trust (Manila, Singapore), ING Barings (Manila) and held the management position of Vice President and Treasurer of Philippine conglomerate, Aboitiz & Co., Inc. and its listed subsidiary, Aboitiz Equity Ventures.   In his 19 years as a banker, he executed capital market and private financings, capital management advisory and M&A advisory roles for sovereigns, regional state-owned and controlled corporations, and  multilateral institutions such as the Republic of the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Asian Development Bank, Singapore Housing Development Board,  SMRT Corporation Ltd., Singapore Airport Terminal Services Ltd., and Philippine and regional conglomerates such as the Ayala Corporation, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co., San Miguel Corporation, Del Monte Pacific Ltd., CapitaLand Ltd. (Singapore) and Household Finance Ltd. (US), among others. 

Mr. Consing's breadth of experience in situational financing include LBO,  securitization, sukuk al-ijara, bonds, project finance, perpetual capital securities, mezzanine capital and equity. These were executed in various jurisdictions such as the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Americas, a number of which transactions were adjudged "deal of the year" by various regional industry publications.

Mr. Consing graduated from De La Salle University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Political Science.
